Day 14: Highest Bricks Laid
The walls grew quickly today. The builders worked hard in the morning to get as much done as possible before the midday sun hit the back of the house. One brick reached the highest point today and it is looking pretty good.
The plan is to finish the walls by Monday or Tuesday and then start on the roof. The steels for the roof are due to arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday. Once steel and timber in place, 2 will work on tiling and the other 2 inside with the plumbing and electrics.
