Day 5: Foundations Completed – Trenches Filled With Concrete

Cement Lorry Arrived

Day 5 was a major day. The pipes were boxed in and the trench tidied a little. At around 11.30am the cement arrived and the 3 builders started wheelbarrowing it from the road to the trenches at the back. The lorry ran out of cement and they then had to wait for a new load which fortunately came a couple of hours later. Then the foundation trenches were filled and everything tidied up for the weekend.
