Day 11: 3 metre French Door Opening Built
Today the walls got taller. We decided on the doors we want and I talked to the builders about running some audio cables through the screed floor for my surround sound. But mostly the walls got taller. The opening for the French doors was built up so we can really start to see the shape of the room.
We had talked about getting bi-fold doors but decided to reduce our spend a little with a wide pair of French doors and two fixed side panels. The door opening will be 1.70 metres with an actual opening of 1.5m,. 1.8 m is the widest the door manufacturer recommended to prevent risk of it dropping in time. Anything bigger is just too heavy for the frame, so we decided to got a little smaller to be safe.

3m opening for the French doors + 2 side panels. Probably 160cm French door and two 70cm side panels.
Got my Rega Jura speakers working and tested ready for the new living room. Have been in storage since Beni poked the tweeters in a few years ago.
