Day 41: Electrician 2nd Fit for New Kitchen

Sunday 16th September 2013

It is not often during the extension that work was done at the weekend, but today was one of those days. The electrician had to devote most of a day to the second fit and could only fit us in on a Sunday.

The kitchen sockets were all completed, the oven, extractor fan, fridge and dishwasher all have a socket and an isolator switch. 4 spot lights / down lights were installed, and light switches added and moved. All that is left is to move the oven supply over to the RCD side when the new oven arrives – I think that is the final job (apart from disconnecting the old oven). Oh, and installing a heat detector too.

I was a bit slack with taking photos, probably because we were at a party for most of the day. It will look more impressive when completed though!
