Week 8 was exciting – the shower tray was installed (900mm by 1400mm) and after the plasterboard in the ensuite was skimmed, I started painting! Knauf Aqua Panel was used on the floor to “tank” the room and give more protection to floor joists from water leaking through the tiled floor in years to come. The landing lights and smoke detector electrics were also put in, and holes cut for the fittings. The office was plasterboarded and partly skimmed. The first floor landing was also build, creating the new, smaller play room.
